Full audit support

We manage CRA and provincial reviews, prepare the technical and financial responses, and attend reviewer meetings. Full audit support is included in our service.

The people behind Cedar

Meet Will and Nikita.

We bring backgrounds in engineering and software development to SR&ED. We’re based in the Sea to Sky and work with companies across Canada.

Will Zittlau

Co-founder

Will earned a mechanical engineering degree, taught himself to code and worked with technology startups before co-founding Cedar. Outside work, he teaches Avalanche Skills Training and spends time trail running, biking and skiing. His adventures have included cycling across Canada, completing a 100-mile ultramarathon and hiking thousands of kilometres on long-distance trails.

Nikita Taylor

Co-founder

Nikita holds a BASc in Mechanical Engineering and worked in transport and logistics before transitioning to SR&ED. He works directly with clients through claim preparation, filing and review. He’s lived on three continents and enjoys travelling. At home in Squamish, he’s often climbing and is currently projecting 5.13 routes. He also enjoys tinkering—ask him about his latest garage project.
